Well a lot has happened since I last posted

- Tawnie and Mark had a beautiful little girl Christina Victoria Leal We call her Tori - she is 9months old now.

- Tanner enlisted in the ARMY

- Trey & Talon just finished up another year of FOOTBALL at Campo Verde High School

AND.............I got my real estate license!

I am Gettin MARRIED!!!!!

I had sent out and e-mail to announce my new employment in Home Warranty and since Ed is one of my "clients" he had received the e-mail.....so he replied with the following in BLUE to which I replied in RED my answers

So let me get this straight………………………….

If I call you I get you? ……………………..Oh yeah, you are who I want!!!!!! and I WANT YOU
I will have you in my house in 24 hours? …………………..I was thinking a couple of hours and for a lifetime FOREVER IS ALL YOU CAN HAVE
I will get your best service? …ONLY THE BEST FOR YOU…………….Do you cook and clean too? COOK YES CLEAN I hire that out
And you’ll give me a 20% discount? …………………..A sale, alllllllll-righty then already saving me money!!!! NIEMAN MARCOS CHICK AT A WAL MART PRICE
Will you marry me? YES - NOW WHERE'S MY BLING! =) LOL

ONE thing about Ed & I we LAUGH a LOT!!! so this had happened in the morning and we met for lunch we were laughing and having fun as we left I told him you do realize you proposed in an E-Mail!?! he said Yes are you okay with that I said yes we laughed and went on our way.....

Later that night we are at the Stake Center watching some good ole Church Basketball - Trey's team was playing and doing well.....I leaned over to Ed and said "our first event as an engaged couple" he said REALLY, We're Engaged?!?! to which I replied well um hee hee yeah.....he asked if I really meant my Yes in the e-mail I said it depends did you mean the question?!?! OH totally he says me too I say!!!

Ed: well then where's your bling?!?!?!
Shelli :I don't know
Ed: maybe you should walk out to my truck with me

So I follow him out and he asks me if this is what I really want and of course I say YES he dropped on one knee and said "Lamoreaux I love you will you MARRY ME?!?!?! I said YES!!!!!

Tanner is an Eagle Scout

We had a Wonderful Eagle Court of Honor for Tanner he was able to have several great men in his life help with the program

Ted Lines & Fernando Sanchez helped with prayers

Paul Trudeau his first Scout Master & Ammon Petersen his current leader each gave the Eagle Charge and Challenge

Uncle Dave Lamoreaux presented the Eagle along with Uncle Rex and Uncle Edwin singing and Presenting Tanner with his FIRST Rifle!!! "Tradition"

Bob Church from the Mormon Battalion presented his neckerchief and slide

Cousin Jack Welch and Friend Matt Bonura along with Brothers Trey & Talon participated in Retiring the Flag

And God Remembered……

Last year I went to the play “Camelot” there is one scene where Arthur & Merlin are looking over the valley as Guinevere and her court arrived to Camelot - Arthur was frustrated & upset that his Kingdom was so happy to meet Guinevere he said to Merlin “Don’t they know who I am?” to which Merlin replied “It is YOU that have forgotten who you are”.

Sometimes in our busy lives we forget who we are!

In the bible we read about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When Jacob was the appropriate age, his parents sent him to the household of Laban, where he would meet Laban’s two daughters, Leah and Rachel. Jacob told Laban, “I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter. … And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; Laban tricked young Jacob into first marrying Leah and then Rachel. Leah bore Reuben, then Simeon, then Levi, and Judah. Meanwhile, Rachel remained childless - With ever-increasing envy and mounting desperation, one day Rachel explosively demanded of Jacob, “Give me children, or else I die” - Leah subsequently bore two more sons and a daughter.

In this age of one-hour dry cleaning and one-minute fast-food franchises, it may at times seem to us as though a loving Heavenly Father has misplaced our precious promises or He has put them on hold or filed them under the wrong name. Such were the feelings of Rachel. But with the passage of time, we encounter four of the most beautiful words in holy writ:

“And God remembered Rachel”

We are all faced with unique challenges this year, some have lost material items, some have lost jobs, and others have pains we cannot understand! The important thing is that we all have a loving Heavenly Father that loves us and
REMEMBERS US!

May Heaven's Blessings be upon you & your Family this Christmas Season and may we all remember the reason for the season.

The Children have Changed.....The reason we celebrate has remained the SAME.........

Besides the trip Ed bought me a Brand new Quad!!!!! He is the BEST don't you think? OH yeah it was a Scripture Quad... LOL I thought it was a sweet and very loving gift he had engraved "Shelli Lamoreaux" since that is what he calls me & I will always be a Lamoreaux.

Tanner - Trey - and Talon had a Party while we were gone and played a MEAN trick on one of the girls that attended....when she asked about my birthday flowers Tanner said yeah I always buy them to remember her by this time of year, she's been gone about a year now...and until today 12-24-08 she BELIEVED him that he was taking care of his younger brothers working and going to school to stay together and keep the house!!! BUGGER!!! =)

All in all I had a wonderful Birthday!

August 12th 2008
Mark Moses Leal & Tawnie Lamoreaux-Bates were sealed for Time & all Eternity in the
Mesa LDS Temple!

They met doing a play "Bye Bye Birdie" and were in High School together....One date in high school...but it was at the Mighty Eastern Arizona College that Mark Fell in Love with the Beauty!!!

We love Mark & Tawnie!!!

Trey is playing his Bass guitar
Tanner is what else WORKING
